According to “Agreement  on plementing cooperation activities between Yen Bai and Vientiane in 2017”, Yen Bai province continued educating 52 overseas students from Vientiane province who has been learning Vietnamese and learning at colleges in Yen Bai province.

In September, 2017 Yen Bai province will receive 10 Vientiane students to learn Vietnamese then transfer to study in colleges in Yen Bai. Yen Bai ‘s delegation also donated fifteen laptops to Vientiane.

Under the agreement to implement cooperative activities in 2017, the delegation of Yen Bai Province attended the ceremony of building a biochemical laboratory for Boarding School in Vang Vieng district in Vientiane province. This is a project funded by Yen Bai province from 2016.

Particularly, the delegation attended the Trade and Investment Promotion Conference between enterprises joining the delegation with enterprises in Vientiane province with the theme " Investment Cooperation and Exchange of goods between two localities ".
