The contest of performing Yen Binh ethnic costumes attracted 26 contestants at the age of 16 to 25, selected from the communes and towns in the area. The contest is a colorful show from the unique costumes of the Tay, Nung, Dao, Cao Lan and Mong ethnic groups, helping the viewer feel the unique, characteristic on the pattern, material origin of each costume, showing cultural identity, reflecting vivid values of material and spiritual life of each ethnic group.

Festival of folk art clubs at the festival of Dai Minh pomelo and boat race on Thac Ba lake attracted seven clubs from Tan Huong, Phuc An, Bach Ha, Vu Linh, Xuan Lai, Yen Thanh, Xuan Long communes. The teams brought to the festival the elaborate folk performances that were elaborately orchestrated, reflecting the unique features, giving the viewer a lot of emotion, impressed, received warm cheers from the audiences.

The contest of peeling pomelos and decorating pomelo products also attracted people from 15 hamlets of Dai Minh Commune.

The contest attracting most tourists and spectators was boat race on Thac Ba lake. This contest has 24 participating communes with 66 pairs of athletes, including 26 pairs of men, 18 pairs of women, 22 pairs of men and women. This is the 4th time boat race on Thac Ba lake has been organized. Previously, on Thac Ba Lake taking place the water-skiing show.

In the framework of the Festival there are  the Country Fair and photo exhibition "Yen Binh land and people ". The Country Fair and Trade Fair take place from November 10 to the end of November 14, attracting over 100 booths from 25 communes, towns and organizations and individuals inside and outside the district. In particular, the Country Fair has 15 booths displaying Dai Minh pomelos and pomelo seed, products related to local specialty pomelos and 33 booths displaying e agricultural, forestry and aquatic products.
