Working with the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang - Vice chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People’s Committee, leaders of some relevant departments. Korean investors included Mr Heather Hur - Chairwoman of PT YDM Group; Mr. Yang Seung Kyo - Director of Gigalane company; Mr. Scott s Sho - Chairman, adviser of Samwoo Law Firm.

At the working session, Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang - Vice chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People’s Committee introduced the potentials, strengths of Yen Bai province, especially the potentials for tourism with the highlight of Van Hoi, policies to attract investors to the province. He emphasized that Yen Bai province is calling for investment attraction, especially for Korean investors to invest in infrastructure of clusters and industrial parks such as transport infrastructure, waste water treatment and some fields such as production of building materials, mineral processing; agricultural and forest product processing industry ...

South Korean investors

Korean investors said that Yen Bai is a rich province with abundant resources and relatively large investment items. With the expectation that the resources of the province will be thoroughly promoted, especially the potentials for tourism, Korean investors are interested in building wastewater treatment systems for industrial zones and clusters, therefore, they would like the province to provide information on quantity, operation status, production sector and waste water treatment status of factories and enterprises in the province and documents relating to waste water treatment. After this visit, Korean investors will continue to explore and plan for the construction of wastewater treatment system in Yen Bai province with the desire to build Yen Bai city green, clean, friendly with the environment.

Speaking at the working session, Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang - Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee emphasized that the fields that Korean investors paid attention and exchanged at the working session are new and no investors has invested in the province before. He believed that, with the idea and preliminary plan of Korean investors launched at this working session, if deployed in Yen Bai will certainly succeed. Yen Bai province will gather and provide relevant information for investors in soon.
