On October 12th, at the Stadium of Nghia Lo town, Yen Bai province opened the Muong Lo Cultural Tourism Festival 2018 with the theme "Muong Lo Xoe Festival ".
Audiences attending the festival are immersed in beauty and people of Muong Lo - Nghia Lo, the land of the National Intangible Heritage and the Vietnam Guiness Book of Records. Here, people also feel and directly explore the typical cultural values of Muong Lo such as Han Khuong festival, wedding customs, folk games, ancient Thai words, traditional food…
Especially, at the festival, more than 1.300 artisans performed 6 xoe dances and made the big round of xoe dance of which documents have been prepaired for UNESCO's recognition of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Not only visitors but also local people attracted by the festival.
Mrs. Lo Thi Van, local people in Chao Ha 1village, Nghia Loi commune, Nghia Lo said: “I am happy because xoe dance and our culture are introduced to friends and visitors” everywhere.
