On May 19, Yen Bai province holds the opening of the national highway 32C with Noi Bai-Lao Cai expressway on occasion of the 130th birthday of late President Ho Chi Minh.
The ceremony was attended by the Yen Bai leaders.
The road linking 32C Nation Highway with Noi Bai – Lao Cai expressway is one of 12 project to welcome the 19th Congress of Yen Bai provincial Party Organisation.
It was built at a cost of 930 billion VND (40 million USD), stretching 5.4 km. The main section is 11.4 km in length, while its branch is 4 km long. It has four lanes with road separators. The completion of the road is hoped to facilitate the development of Yen Bai city and Tran Yen district toward the right bank of Hong (Red) River.
It also serves as a driving force for luring investment and building new urban areas and malls in the province, along with the improvement of health, education, ecotourism, resort tourism, administrative centres and industrial parks in communes and wards on the right bank of the river.
