Independent Day Festival (Tet Doc lap) on September 2nd, 2020 and Festival of discovering the special National Relic, Mu Cang Chai Terraced Field 2020 with the theme “ Mu Cang Chai – Identity – Safety – Friendship”

There are many activities in Independent Day Festival such as art programme with the theme “country festival”, Mu Cang Chai market where showing agricultural products, cultural products and cuisines of ethnic groups; traditional games, special art program on Saturday nights; Mu Cang Chai Discovering Marathon Tournament and photograph exhibition with the theme “Mu Cang Chai – the beauty of nature”

The Festival of discovering the special National Relic, Mu Cang Chai Terraced Field 2020 will be held from September 12 to the end of October 2020. The festival will start with the programe of receiving the Recognization Ceremony of Special  National Relic: Mu Cang Chai Terraced Field on September 26th, 2020.

The new point of Independent Day Festival and The Festival of discovering the special National Relic, Mu Cang Chai Terraced Field 2020 is the Marathon Tournament with participation of 100 athletes; “Flying on the Relic” by helicopters and “ Four seasons” Camping and show…

Holding festival activities aims to create an exciting and practical emulation atmosphere to establish achievements to successfully celebrate the XIX Party Congress, towards the XIXth Yen Bai Provincial Party Congress, the XIII National Congress of Delegates Party, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for the people on the Independence Day Festival.

These activities also aims to introduce, promoting potentials and strengths in developing cultures, games of ethnic groups; enhancing the awareness preserving and promoting of historical relics in accordance with developing tourism and society of Mu Cang Chai district. Therefore, creating a link in sustainable tourism development between localities in the province and the Northwest region, forming a supply chain of quality tourism products of the district with new, unique, attractive and friendly criteria.
