At the same time, the district focuses on investment in intensive farming and application of new scientific and technical measures in production; convert some inefficient rice, crop and tea areas to some of the higher value crops and animals; create products according to the needs of the market with a large product volume, quality and highly competitive in the market such as the field of mulberry farming with 616 hectares, an increase of nearly 400 hectares compared to 2015, silkworm cocoons reached over 750 tons, an increase of 464 tons compared to 2015; Bat Do bamboo shoots area is 3,577 hectares, an increase of 1,977 hectares, the output of fresh bamboo shoots exploited reaches 73,250 tons, up 54,000 tons; citrus fruit area is 762 hectares, an increase of 553 hectares, production reached more than 2,700 tons; the cinnamon area is over 16,000 hectares, an increase of 5,600 hectares; in which, an organic safe cinnamon area is 7,000 hectares, over 2,800 hectares meet international standards.
