Delegates implemented the protocol to start the project

The project has total length of 29.43 km, scale of grade V mountainous road according to Vietnamese standards TCVN 4054 - 2005 with total investment of over VND 913 billion. The project has a starting point at Km0 intersecting with National Highway 70 at Km96+550m in Khanh Hoa commune of Luc Yen district and the end point at Km29+38.57m intersecting with An Binh - Lam Giang road in An Binh commune of Van district Yen. The project is invested by the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board.

The project is expected to be completed and put into use before January 2024. This is a crossroads connecting traffic infrastructure of Luc Yen and Van Yen districts, National Highway 70 with Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway, and at the same time forming a traffic belt linking districts of Yen Bai province with provinces of Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang, Lao Cai and Hanoi capital.

In order for the project to be invested and built to ensure quality, safety, and be completed on schedule, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to strictly comply with the investment and construction regulations; regularly urge, inspect and control the quality and progress of the project.

Facing the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, during the project implementation, the Party Committee, authorities, mass organizations of Van Yen and Luc Yen districts, communes in the construction area, contractors supervision and construction need to well implement "Safe adaptation, flexibility, effective control of the Covid-19 epidemic" in accordance with the direction of the Central Government and the province.
