YBP - Up to March 2022, in the province, there has been 03 industrial parks and 12 industrial clusters with a total area of 1,176.67ha. In 2022, the province is implementing additional planning procedures and establishing 05 industrial clusters with a total area of 336.82 ha.
Currently, Yen Bai province has 3 industrial parks with a total area of 627.89 ha (Southern Industrial Park with an area of 400 ha; Minh Quan Industrial Park with nearly 108 ha and Au Lau Industrial Park with 120 ha). By the end of 2021, it has attracted 84 investment projects including: 73 domestic investment projects (DDI) and 11 foreign investment capital (FDI) projects, with a total registered investment capital of 14,207 billion VND, total registered land area reached 455.89ha. The average occupancy rate is 94.78%.
Besides, the province has 12 industrial clusters with a total area of 548.78ha; part of infrastructure has been invested, such as: internal roads, electricity and water supply with a total investment capital of 153.42 billion VND. Industrial clusters have attracted 47 projects with a total registered capital of 2,654 billion VND. The average occupancy rate of industrial clusters reaches 31.39%. Particularly for Minh Quan industrial cluster, the infrastructure investment is made by enterprises from the source of socialization.
