In the first 5 months of 2022, the industrial production value (at current prices) is estimated at VND 8,131 billion, up 11.16% over the same period in 2021.
The index of industrial production (IIP) in May, 2022 increased by 4.89% over the previous month and increased by 13.83% compared to May 2021. Generally, in the first 5 months of 2022, the industrial production index increased by 11.08% compared to the same period in 2021.
Some main products accumulated in the 5 months of 2022 increased with the same period as: Commercial electricity was estimated at 434,699 million Kwh, up 2.82%; Electricity for production was estimated at 598,942 million Kwh, up 74.84%; CaCo3 stones and Flour was estimated at 668,082 tons, up 25.19%; plywood is estimated at 2,620 tons, up 20.18%; insulating porcelain was estimated at 1,975 tons, up 25.8%.
In the coming time, the Industry and Trade sector will focus on reviewing and proposing timely solutions to remove difficulties for product industries and production projects in the industrial field, especially the processing and manufacturing industry in order to increase production capacity, expand production and business scale. Strengthening support for investors and enterprises to accelerate the implementation of infrastructure investment projects in industrial zones and clusters; accelerate the implementation of industrial promotion projects, strengthen consulting activities to support industrial development to promote small and medium-sized production and business activities.
