In the first 7 months of the year, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development continued to guide localities, businesses and cooperatives to register products to participate in the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program in 2022, implement the necessary procedures to evaluate potential products that are eligible to get OCOP certification in 2022 to achieve the set plan.

To the end of July 2022, Yen Bai province has 138 OCOP products with 3 stars and 4 stars, including: 20 products with 4 stars; 118 three-star products in 04 product categories (Food industry: 98 products; Handicraft and decoration industry: 05 products; Herbal medicine industry: 19 products and Beverage industry: 03 products; Rural tourism services and sales: 13 products).
In recent years, Yen Bai's OCOP products have affirmed their position in the market, many association and product sales contracts have been signed; packaging, design, product quality are valued. The current OCOP products have really brought the confidence to domestic consumers.
