Construction investment project of To Mau Bridge, Luc Yen district has the starting point of the project at Ly Trinh Km8+371 on provincial road TL171, in To Mau commune; the end point is at Ly Trinh Km9+051 on provincial road TL171, in Tan Linh commune of Luc Yen district.

To Mau Bridge project has a length of 159m; the path at both ends of the bridge has a length of 523m. The bridge is permanently designed with 3 beam spans, prestressed reinforced concrete frame structure. The abutments and piers are reinforced concrete structures poured, placed on the bored pile foundation system. The road section at both ends of the bridge is designed according to the scale of construction of grade IV mountainous roads with the road bed width 7.5m, the road surface is 5.5m wide; each side of the road is 1m. Total investment in construction is VND115 billion. The project was built by the consortium of Hiep Phu Company Limited - TLK Transport and Construction Investment Company Limited. The project is expected to be completed in 18 months.

When To Mau Bridge is completed and put into use, it will contribute to completing synchronously the infrastructure, especially the transport system, ensuring the connection between the two banks of the Chay River, creating a driving force for socio-economic development of Luc Yen district in particular and Yen Bai province in general; at the same time, meeting the aspirations of the people of ethnic minorities in Luc Yen district, contributing to promoting goods trade, connecting regions and inter-regions, bringing a new breath of life to the homeland, so that Luc Yen district basically becomes a new rural district by 2025.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: This is an important project with the task of replacing the old To Mau bridge, which is still in operation with limited load and bridge size, improving the navigability of provincial road 171. This is an external route connecting Yen Bai province with Ha Giang province, and at the same time connecting the center of Luc Yen district with National Highway 70, Yen Binh district, Van Yen district, Yen Bai city and Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway, meeting the travel and goods needs of the people, shortening the transportation time of enterprises; towards the goal of attracting investment and developing industry and tourism in the upper Luc Yen district in association with the investment and development of Thac Ba Lake National Tourist Site, making an important contribution to speeding up the process of rural construction. development of Luc Yen district and socio-economic development of the province.
