To effectively implement the "One Commune, One Product" (OCOP) program, aiming to enhance the value of production and create a brand for products from enterprises, cooperatives, and production and business establishments in the area, contributing to promoting trade, connectivity, and product consumption, Hồ Bốn commune has actively collaborated with the departments and sectors of the district to propagate, develop, and promote OCOP products, particularly the Séng Cù rice produced by local residents.

After more than 10 months of thorough preparation regarding documentation, on December 15, 2023, the Provincial and District OCOP Evaluation Council officially recognized the Séng Cù Rice of Hồ Bốn as a 3-star OCOP product.

At the launching ceremony, the People's Committee of Hồ Bốn commune announced and presented the decision of the Mù Cang Chải District People's Committee for the Séng Cù rice product.

To continue attracting tourists with local agricultural products in the coming year, Ho Bon commune will proceed with the development of additional tourism support products and OCOP products produced by the local residents, such as Mong knives, herbal medicine, and taro.
