On March 1st, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Yen Bai province organized a workshop to launch the project "Youth in cyber risk prevention" sponsored by the European Union.
The project Management Board Project
The project aims to enhance the capacity of provincial youth union members to address risks in cyberspace with a people centered approach; enhance the personal capacity of local youth, including people from Kinh, Tay and other ethnic groups in YenBai city and Luc Yen district to minimize risks in space network; consult on decision-making on digital ecducation for youngpeople to prevent risks in space network.
The project started in March 2024 and will last 48 months.
Total Capital of the project is about EUR 493,050 equipvalent to USD 522,268,261.
49 officials and youth Union members of Yen Bai province of 3 key sectors: youth union, department of information and communicaions and Department of Education and Training were improved in human-centered Architectural Education capacity to prevent risks in cyberspace.
Besides, 3.600 of local youth, including Kinh, Tay and various ethnic groups, in Luc Yen district and Yen Bai city are improved personal capacity mitigate cyber risks. More than 36 thousand young people in Yen Bai city and Luc Yen district can use the digital Education built by the project in Vietnam to self – study and protect themselves from risks in cyberspace.
At the conference, leader of Yen Bai PPC Office announced the decision of Yen Bai PPC to approve the project; the decision to establish the project Management Board Project and launched the project ceremony.
