In October, 2024, the industrial production activities of the province continued to maintain stability and showed considerable growth compared to the same period last year. The Industrial Production Index (IIP) for October, 2024 is estimated to increase by 12.7% compared to the previous month and by 4.01% compared to October 2023. For the first 10 months of 2024, the industrial production index is estimated to rise by 8.7% compared to the same period in 2023.
The industrial production value (at 2010 comparative prices) for October, 2024 is estimated to reach VND1.641 trillion, an increase of 8.22% compared to October 2023. Cumulatively, for the first 10 months, the industrial production value (at 2010 comparative prices) is estimated at VND15.305 trillion, achieving 83.2% of the plan and increasing by 9.5% compared to the same period in 2023.
Several key products have shown significant increases in industrial production value over the past 10 months, such as: powder and granular CaCO3 increasing by 13.8%; weathered feldspar rising by 43.1%; commercial electricity increasing by 5.9%; electricity production increasing by 44.7%; tap water rising by 5.95%; plywood increasing by 32.2%; processed tea rising by 7.8%; cassava starch increasing by 11.6%.
