Mr. Tran Huy Tuan inspected the progress of the Hang A road project in Ho Bon commune, Mu Cang Chai district, which connects to Hua Na village in Than Uyen district, Lai Chau province. The project has a total length of 6.7 km with an investment of over VND 34 billion. Currently, the foundation work is complete, and construction is underway for the drainage system and protective works, with an expected completion date in January 2025.

Additionally, he checked the progress of the emergency construction project for the anti-erosion embankment and the regulation of Nam Kim stream in Ho Bon commune. This project addresses the aftermath of the heavy rains and floods that occurred in August 2023.

The emergency project has a total investment of VND130 billion and covers over 1.2 km. It began construction in June 2024 and is being executed by a consortium of contractors, including Yen Bai Traffic Construction Joint Stock Company, Linh Huy Hoang Co., Ltd., Luong Gia Co., Ltd., and Dong Tien Co., Ltd.

Currently, the contractors have completed over 1.1 km of the project, achieving approximately 94% of the contract value. They are striving to finish the entire project by February 2025.

During his inspection of the progress of projects in Mu Cang Chai district, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan praised the efforts of the contractors in the construction process. However, to meet the ambitious timeline, he urged the contractors to mobilize maximum machinery and workforce. He emphasized the importance of maintaining high construction quality, as this project plays a crucial role in disaster prevention and ensuring the safety of infrastructure, as well as the lives and property of local residents.
