Determining tourism is a key economic sector, Tram Tau district has always been interested in developing adventure tourism products; calling for businesses to invest in key tourism products to diversify products, extend their stay as well as satisfy the needs of visitors.

From March 21st to March 24th , 2019, Mr. Pham Thi Thanh Tra - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and high-ranking delegation of Yen Bai province had a visit and worked in Yunnan Province, the People's Republic of China.

In the morning of April 18, the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headed by Mr. Bui Thanh Son, member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs worked in Yen Bai province.

In the framework of local cooperation programs between Vietnam and France in 2018, Mr. Do Duc Duy – Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People Committee and Chairman of Provincial Council of Val de Marne signed a cooperation agreement supporting development of tourism in Yen Bai.

YBP - In May, 2019, Yen Bai province will organize many tourism activities to popularize Yen Bai tourism image to domestic and foreign tourists and honor the cultural identity of Yen Bai ethnic groups.

YBP - On April 18, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Do Duc Duy received and worked with the Mission of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation led by Mr. Douglas Foo - Chairman of the Federation to visit, survey and seek the investment opportunity in Yen Bai province.

YBP - On March 27, at the Provincial Conference Center, Yen Bai province held a meeting with businesses and investors in the province in 2019.

YBP - On March 28th, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the US Agency for International Development (USAID) announced the Provincial Competitive Index (PCI) 2018.

YBP - On March 25, Yen Bai city organized a meeting with typical businesses, cooperatives, production and business establishments in 2019.

In 2019, Yen Bai province will continue to mobilize all resources to invest in infrastructure construction and strive to complete 5 key projects.
