YBP - In the afternoon of September 5, the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by Ambassador Pham Sanh Chau - Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and representatives of foreign embassies and international organizations in Hanoi had a working session with the People's Committee of Yen Bai province. The delegation was accompanied by Do Duc Duy - Chairman of Yen Bai provincial People's Committee.

YBP - On September 19, in Lao Cai province, Department of Industry and Trade of Yen Bai province and Department of Industry and Trade of Lao Cai province held a conference to connect trade between enterprises in Yen Bai province and enterprises in Hekou district, Yunnan province (China) with the participation of 80 enterprises and business households of Vietnam and China.

In Highland kermiss 2018, Mu Cang Chai district will introduce and sell local specific products and goods. The event also will be a place for visitors.

Although in 2016 Tran Yen ranked 2nd, in 2017 the district ranked the first among 9 districts and towns in the district and department competiveness index but the district always strives to maintain and improve the index group.

On the occasion of the new school year 2018 - 2019, on October 5th, Delegation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by Mr. Pham Sanh Chau - Assistant Secretary of Foreign Affairs together with representatives of foreign embassies and other international organizations in Hanoi visited and organized the inauguration ceremony donating classes for Binh Thuan Kindergarten, Binh Thuan Commune, Van Chan District.

On August 30th, in Tan Linh Commune, Luc Yen district, Yen Bai PPC held the “Enterprises Coffee” program in August: Resolving difficulities for enterprises, co-operatives in Luc Yen district. Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang – Vice Chairmam of Yen Bai PPC chaired the program. More than 80 enterprises and co-operatives in Luc Yen district attended the program.

YBP - On September 25, 1958, at the Yen Bai town Stadium (now Yen Bai City), Uncle Ho talked to people of different ethnic groups in Yen Bai Province. Uncle praised the achievements that the Party and people of Yen Bai province had striven to achieve. He reminded Yen Bai people to unite, emulate, increase production, practice thrift, build new cultural life so that Yen Bai would become the best province of the mountainous provinces.

YBP - Festival to explore the national scenery Mu Cang Chai terraces in 2018 will be held from September 20 to September 30, 2018 with many attractive contents.

YBP - Muong Lo Culture - Tourism Week is scheduled to open in the evening of September 21, 2018 at Nghia Lo town Stadium with many special features such as: “Legend of Bauhinia variegata”, the art show “Come to Bauhinia variegata Muong Lo”, and the ethnic orchestral performance and Khen Be of the Thai in Muong Lo, made a record in Vietnam in 2017 and performance of the show with the participation of 1,000 performers.

YBP - Luc Yen district is gifted with natural resources of large, valuable minerals, including white marble. Over the past years, Luc Yen district has brought into full play the strengths of the locality. There are many policies and supports to attract domestic and foreign investment to make good use of natural resources and minerals, create momentum for industry and small scale industry to become a key economic sector of Luc Yen district.
