This is an annual activity which takes place on rice season in Khau Pha Pass by Yen Bai Provincial People’s Committee and Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Paragliding in Khau Pha Pass is an attractive activity in Festival in Mu Cang Chai.
Every September, terraces stretching at Mu Cang Chai district (Yen Bai) attracts visitors by the majestic beauty. The ethnic minority people with the creativity have been created one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Northwest.
Not only the golden terraces, but also other activities to respond to the "golden season" will also take place. In this festival, from September 29th – October 1st, Yen Bai Provincial People’s Committee will coordinate with Vietwings Parachute club to take place “Flying on golden season” on Khau Pha Pass – one of the four hugest pass in the North West”.
At an altitude of more than 2 thousand meter above the sea level, Khau Pha is one of the majestic passes in the North West covering by cloud around year. Tu Le valley with golden terraces lies at the foot of Khau Pha.
Besides paragliding, adventurous travelers can also register to participate in paragliding.
