Mr. Tran Ngoc Thu - Former Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology was transferred by the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to work in Tran Yen District Party Committee, joining the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, holding the position of Vice Secretary of the District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and was nominated for election to hold the position of Chairman of Tran Yen District People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

At the session, delegates attending the session, voted to elect Mr. Tran Ngoc Thu to the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

In the spirit of democracy, unity and high consensus, Mr. Tran Ngoc Thu was elected to be Chairman of Tran Yen District People's Committee with 100% approval votes.

Speaking at the session, Mr. Tran Ngoc Thu expressed his determination to make efforts together with the district's party committee, government and people to complete the targets and tasks for 2024 and strive to build an upgraded rural district by early 2025, contributing bringing Tran Yen district to increasingly develop rich, beautiful, civilized and happy./.
