Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Đào Ngọc Dung kindly visited and encouraged Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dương Thị Cúc, 96 years old in Ngòi Bang hamlet, Bảo Ái commune, Yên Bình district

Visiting and presenting gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dương Thị Cúc, 96 years old, in Ngòi Bang hamlet, Bảo Ái commune, Yên Bình district, Mr. Đào Ngọc Dung - Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs kindly inquired about her health, encouraged and expressed profound gratitude for Heroic Mother Dương Thị Cúc's great contributions and sacrifices for the national liberation cause. He also wished for Heroic Mother Dương Thị Cúc to continue living happily, healthily and meaningfully, setting a bright example for descendants to learn from and follow.

Afterwards, in Tân Nguyên commune, Yên Bình district, Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Đào Ngọc Dung and the delegations visited to extend New Year greetings and presenting over 300 gifts to policy beneficiary families, poor households, workers and disadvantaged children in 3 communes of Tân Nguyên, Bảo Ái and Cảm Ân, Yên Bình district with a total value of over VND 550 million; Vietnam Children's Fund donated over VND 203 million  to Yên Bái province.

Minister Đào Ngọc Dung expressed joy at Yên Bình district's achievements, from a disadvantaged area, all communes have now achieved new rural standards and Yên Bình completed criteria for a new-style rural district and is proposing national recognition.

On the occasion of  Lunar New Year Giáp Thìn 2024, Minister Đào Ngọc Dung sent best wishes for the new year to the Party Committee, authorities and people of ethnic groups in Yên Bình district, hoping "everyone has good health, happiness and safety in the new year. In the new year, everyone experiences new joy".
