Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, Chairman of the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee delivered a speech at the working session with the leadership of Anyang City

At the working session, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan sincerely thanked Mr. Choi Daeho, Mayor of Anyang City, and the officials for working with the delegation.

In a quick overview of the potential, strengths, and socio-economic development situation of the province in recent times, as well as the digital transformation situation of Yen Bai province, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan said that 2023 was chosen as the year of "Breakthrough in Digital Transformation" in line with the characteristic of Yen Bai - Digital Transformation to help the people become happier.

Mr. Tuan said that the development philosophy of Yen Bai province is "Green, harmonious, identity, happiness", which is similar to the development philosophy of Anyang City, which is "Smart City for the Happiness of Citizens". This is the basis for the two localities to exchange and discuss cooperation activities in various fields such as digital transformation, smart city, tourism, culture, ... in the future.

At the working session, Mr. Choi Daeho, Mayor of Anyang City, expressed his delight in welcoming the Yen Bai provincial delegation, and highly appreciated the increasingly good relationship between Vietnam and Korea. The Mayor stated that Anyang is developing according to the Smart City model.

Mr. Choi Daeho was very pleased that the two localities have similar development philosophies, both aiming for the happiness of the people, and believed that Yen Bai and Anyang have many opportunities to cooperate in the future.

Also on the morning of June 17, the Yen Bai provincial delegation worked with the Gyeonggi-do Employment Promotion and Support Organization and the Anyang City Industry Promotion Center to exchange about the potential for labor cooperation between the two localities.

Mr. Yoon Deok Ryong, Chairman of the Gyeonggi-do Employment Promotion and Support Organization, expressed his delight in welcoming the Yen Bai provincial delegation for a visit and working session here. Mr. Yoon Deok Ryong introduced the Gyeonggi-do Employment Promotion and Support Organization. He hoped that in the coming time, they will connect with Yen Bai province to recruit Yen Bai labor to work at enterprises in Gyeonggi-do province in particular and in Korea in general.

During the working session, the Vietnam-Korea Business Association, the the Yen Bai Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation with the Gyeonggi-do Employment Promotion and Support Organization, Korea and the Vietnam-Korea Business and Investment Association (VKBIA).

The People's Committee Office of Yen Bai province signed an Memorandum of Understanding with the Anyang City Industry Development Agency, Korea and the Vietnam-Korea Business and Investment Association (VKBIA).

Continuing the working program, on the morning of June 17, in Gyeonggi-do province, the Yen Bai provincial delegation also worked with the Korean Cultural Center to explore cultural exchange cooperation between the two sides in the coming time.
