The above connecting road project is invested by the Yen Bai Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, with a total capital of more than 412 billion VND, of which construction costs account for 278 billion VND, the rest is site clearance costs and other costs, mobilized from the budget for the period 2021-2025 and other legal capital sources.

The route is 4.15km long, designed according to the urban road scale. The roadbed width is 33m, including 4 lanes, the road surface width is 21m (2 x 10.5m); the median strip is 2m wide; the sidewalk on each side is 5m wide.

The project is built synchronously, with a complete longitudinal drainage system, landscape trees, and modern lighting. The starting point of the route is directly connected to the end point of the Bach Lam bridge project (at Km93+070 on National Highway 32C), forming a continuous traffic chain, overcoming the separation by the Red River. The end point of the route intersects at the same level with Au Co Street at Km6+606, opening up a convenient connection to the city center and neighboring areas.

Convenient connection with Noi Bai-Lao Cai expressway will attract investors to industrial parks, industrial clusters, urban development projects, tourism and services of Yen Bai province.
