The leaders of the province cut the ribbon opening to public traffic of Bach Thang bridge

Bach Lam bridge project was started on May 18, 2016. This is one of the 10 key projects of Yen Bai province in the period 2016-2020, linking the transportation system of Yen Bai city (Highway 37) with Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway. The total investment of  the project is 512 billion VND, invested by the Department of Transport; constructed by Trung Chinh Trading and Construction Co.,ltd. - Tuan Loc Investment Construction Joint Stock Company.

Bach Bach Bridge has the head attaching to Cao Lanh intersection, at the beginning of Nguyen Thai Hoc Avenue in Yen Ninh Ward, Yen Bai City (Km278 + 500 Highway 37); The last point (Km1 + 898.51m) intersects Highway 32C at Km92 + 987.24 m in the area of ​​People's Committee of Gioi Phien commune, Yen Bai city. The bridge section has permanent and modern design according to branch standard 22 TCN 272-2005. After more than 2 years of implementation, with the efforts of the investors, construction and supervision units, up to now, Bach Lam Bridge has been completed, tested and put into use.

Having a speech at the ceremony, Mr. Do Duc Duy - Chairman of the provincial People's Committee stressed that Bach Lam Bridge is a road construction crossing the Red River, which is of special significance, contributing to the completion of the transport infrastructure serving socio-economic development of the province; along with the works of Au Co and Tuan Quan bridge, the road connecting Highway 32C with Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway will ensure the connection and synchronization of transport infrastructure between Yen Bai city and Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway, creating conditions to expand the urban development space of Yen Bai city; To connect the two sides on the bank of the Red River, and to motivate investment, to build new urban centers, centers of commercial service, health care, education and eco-tourism, resorts and administrative areas of Yen Bai city and industrial parks in communes on the right bank of the Red River. Thus, it contributes to the new appearance, dynamism and competitiveness of Yen Bai city, which is the political, administrative and socio-economic center of the province and soon becomes urban type II in the future.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Do Duc Duy, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee would like to thank the attention and assistance on capital and technical solutions of the Government, central ministries and sectors; the direction of the provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council. He noted, appreciated and praised the investors, consultants, contractors to strictly complied with the law, project management organization, design, supervision, construction works to ensure quality, progress, safety; praised the efforts of the Party committees, authorities and mass organizations of Yen Bai city in ground clearance for construction.

He thanked the support, agreement and great contribution of the people in the project affected areas having well complied with the regulations of the State, willing to move houses, garden attached to many generations to ensure the construction site, together to build a bridge that is beautiful, modern and extremely significant for the development of Yen Bai, Tran Yen district in particular and Yen Bai province in general.

He suggested the owner (Department of Transport) and the contractors continue to allocate the construction resources to complete the remaining items of the project, giving immediate priority to the items traffic safety; To organize the pre-acceptance test and hand-over to officially put the works into use to serve the people; To carry out the maintenance and repair work so as to ensure the technical, artistic and absolute safety in the process of exploitation and use, bringing into full play the efficiency of the project investment.

He asked provincial departments, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to continue to closely coordinate with the provincial functional departments, investors and contractors in the organization and Implementing projects, especially doing the site clearance works for construction.

Organizations, individuals, communes and wards in the project area, especially organizations and households subject to land recovery, site clearance should support, agree with the guidelines, policies and laws of the State because of the good life of the Yen Bai people, the bright future of the descendants. The Party committees and authorities in the province always respect, recognize, praise the willingness to support, contribute, share and well observe the law of the State, perform well civic duties for the development purpose, requirements of the province in the present and future.
