The delegation of Yen Bai province was led by Mr. Do Duc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, accompanied by leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Industry and Trade and related departments.

The 2019 South & South East Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair and Conference on Trade and Investment Promotion 2019 has 17 display areas on an area of ​​170,000 m2. The exhibition attracted the participation of more than 30 countries and territories, with about 7,500 standard booths which are divided into areas of South Asian, ASEAN, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau ...

The delegation of Yen Bai province participated in the International Exhibition of East Asia and Southeast Asia countries was led by Mr. Do Duc Duy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, accompanied by  leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Industry and Trade and related departments.

Vietnamese enteperise delagation with 80 enterprises from Ho Chi Minh city, Ha Noi, Binh Thuan, Binh Phuoc, Da Nang, Thanh Hoa… participated the Exhibition with 200 booths.

At the Exhibition, Yen Bai province displayed some products which are strong provincial products such as: cinamon products, wood, tea, essential oils, cassava starch, and specialities such as: Tu Le sticky rice, Seng Cu rice, Muong Lo rice….

In the framework of the Exhibition, there are many activities such as the 2nd China-South Asia Cooperation Forum; The 17th ASEAN Overseas ASEAN Forum; The 8th Taiwan-Yunnan Conference; The 14th China – South Asia Forum 14th National - South Asia, 3rd China - Southeast Asia Trade Forum, South Asia - Southeast Asia Technology Transfer Promotion Conference 2019 ...

The International Exhibition of East Asia and Southeast Asia countries and the 2019 Trade and Investment Promotion Conference are considered an important trade promotion event. The event created a convenient space and became one of the meeting points for trade, promoting economic, trade and investment cooperation which is expected  by the business community in Southeast Asia, South Asia and China expected.
