Mr. Do Duc Duy, Chairman of Yen Bai provincial People's Committee delivered a speech to conclude the online Conference

At the online conference, Mr. Do Duc Duy, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee acknowledged and praised the member industries and localities to seriously  implement the plans and respond promptly to the happening of each situation of epidemic prevention in the last time.

However, he also pointed out the shortcomings: some departments, agencies, units ignored, were subjective, lack of initiative in performing tasks; most of departments and agencies mainly carried out assigned tasks, theyy didn’t actively advise and propose tasks and solutions of the sector in timely for epidemics prevention and control  ...

Forecasting that in the coming time, the epidemic situation will continue to have complicated developments, the risk of epidemics appearing in Yen Bai is very high, which can occur at any time, Mr. Do Duc Duy, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested to implement some urgent common tasks, including:

Continue to respond to the call of the General Secretary, the President, thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing the Prime Minister's Directive No. 15 and 16 and Directive No. 34-CT/TU of Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on taking urgent measures to prevent and control Covid-19.

All member agencies of the Provincial Steering Committee, departments, branches and localities continue to thoroughly grasp the spirit of "Anti-epidemic is like fighting against the enemy", moving into a new state with higher requirements under the motto "Speedy, synchronous, whole people, comprehensive, no one is on the sidelines; no one is left behind"; urgently overcome shortcomings and limitations in the implementation of COVID-19 prevention and control; complete the issuance of detailed plan to cope with situation 2 under the Plan No.70/KH-BCD dated March 21, 2020 and the Adjustment plan to respond to each level of COVID-19 epidemic of the Provincial Steering Committee before April 6, 2020; urgently amending, supplementing and promulgating plans to implement the People's Committee's Plan and the Detailed Plan to Respond to Situation 2 under Plan No. 70, requesting details for each content and task, situations.
All departments and branches must prepare all conditions to cope with the occurrence of epidemics in the area; strictly implement social distancing measures up to April 15, 2020; arrange cadres, civil servants and public employees to work at home; task assignment, product contracting; strengthen surveillance and detection in the community and health facilities to early detect the first case of disease to localize and isolate thoroughly.

Strengthen propaganda, implement the administrative measures, education and deterrence to raise the awareness of law observance of officials, public servants, officials and the people. Strictly punishment to violations according to law provisions; complete the review and assessment of impacts  of COVID-19 on socio-economic development targets of the province in 2020 of each sector and locality to take proactive measures to cope with the situation.

He asked to supplement members of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, who are the Director of the Department of Home Affairs, the Director of the Provincial Tax Department; revise the working regulations of the provincial Steering Committee, supplement the implementation of the weekly reporting regime before 17:00 on Friday and irregular reports at the request of the Steering Committee.
