In 2020, the PAR Index of Yen Bai province reached the total score of 84.70 points, increased 3.04 points and 2 ranks compared to 2019 (in 2019 the PAR index reached 81.66 points, ranked 26th out of 63 provinces and cities). In which, the direction and administration of administrative reform reached 8.50 points; formulating and organizing the implementation of legal documents reached 8.89 points; administrative procedure reform reached 12.44 points; organizational reform of the state administrative apparatus reached 8.74 points; building and improving the quality of cadres and civil servants reached 10.43 points; the public finance reached 10.08 points; administrative modernization reached 13.59; the impact of PAR on people, organizations and socio-economic development of the province reached 12.01 points.

In 2020, the results of the People's Satisfaction Index (SIPAS) of Yen Bai province ranked 16th out of 63 provinces and cities and ranked 3rd in the Midland and Northern Mountainous region, with a satisfaction rate of 88.61%, increased 1.77% and 3 ranks compared to 2019, reaching the target of the Plan (in 2019 ranked 19th out of 63 provinces and cities with a satisfaction rate of 86.84%).
