Van Yen Cinnamon Festival in 2022 is part of the recovery plan, attracting tourists, by events and cultural festivals after the pandemic.

The festival will be held in the district center with the theme "Van Yen Cinnamon - Brand reaching far." This event will take place in 5 days with 5 main activities: Folk dance festival with the theme "Sparkling colors of Van Yen"; Scientific conference to improve the value and brand of  Van Yen cinnamon; offering incense at Thap Cai communal house in Vien Son commune - worshiping the ancestors of cinnamon cultivation; the opening of the Cinnamon Festival; trade fair of products, machinery, agricultural tools for growing and processing cinnamon products, OCOP products, local specialties, and trade fairs for Vietnamese goods.

Cultural, artistic and sports activities include: Contest "Charming girls in cinnamon area", contest on processing cinnamon products; photo exhibition on Van Yen cinnamon, soil and people; re-creating some traditional cultural rituals of the Dao and traditional sports competitions...

With the theme "Van Yen Cinnamon - Brand reaching far", this year's Cinnamon Festival activities continue to exploit the national cultural values ​​for visitors to experience, feel and immerse themselves in the festival space.

Van Yen Cinnamon Festival is identified as an opportunity for the locality to promote the image and specialty products of cinnamon to domestic and foreign friends; creating favorable conditions for domestic and international businesses to have the opportunity to exchange and share experiences on planting, processing and consuming cinnamon products; promoting joint ventures, linking production and business, expanding market, gradually improving the value chain of cinnamon products; attracting investors to process cinnamon products, increasing income for cinnamon growers.
