Many businesses are investing in modern production lines and applying advanced techniques in the wood processing industry in Van Chan's planted forest sector

To achieve its set goals, Van Chan will focus on effectively implementing tasks and solutions for industrial development in the district, in accordance with Resolution No. 29-NQ/TU dated February 24, 2021, from the Provincial Party Committee, and the restructuring plan for the industrial sector for the 2021 - 2025 period in Yen Bai Province.

The district will continue to attract investment from businesses to leverage its industrial potential and strengths, such as deep processing of minerals, production of building materials, and agricultural and forestry products using advanced and environmentally friendly technologies. It will also maintain, build, and develop traditional crafts linked to tourism, such as the cultivation and processing of Suoi Giang tea and Tu Le green rice flakes.

Van Chan will promptly address challenges faced by businesses; plan and care for raw material areas to ensure quality and quantity for industrial production, and take decisive action against projects with high pollution risks, those that are delayed, or those not adhering to commitments.

Additionally, the district will continue to enhance investment attraction, selecting investors who are genuinely capable, reputable, and committed to green development, contributing to the preservation and sustainable development of the ecological environment.
