YBP - On June 26, Yen Bai province in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development held a workshop on restructuring the agriculture sector associated with building new rural areas in Yen Bai in the period 2018 - 2020, orientation to 2025. Mr. Le Quoc Doanh - Vice Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and Mr. Do Duc Duy - Chairman of Yen Bai People's Committee co-chaired the workshop.

YBP - On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee (30/6/1945- 30/6/2018), on June 30, the People's Committee of Yen Bai Province held a ceremony to open to public traffic of Bach Thang bridge connecting Highway 37 with Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway.

YBP - The opening ceremony of Bach Lam Bridge is expected to take place in the morning of June 30, 2018, Bach Lam Bridge is inaugurated and put into use on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of Yen Bai provincial party (30/6/1945 - 30/6/2018).

YBP - In recent years, tourism in Nam Khat commune, Mu Cang Chai district has gradually developed and attracted tourists to the local.

YBP - Implementing the Resolution No.35 of the Executive Board of the provincial party session XVIII, the plan No.197 dated 27/12/2016 of the People's Committee of Yen Bai Province to promote the development of tourism in Yen Bai province in 2016 - 2020, with a vision to 2025, the attraction of investment in tourism development has been paid attention by Yen Bai, thereby gaining positive results, contributing to changing the face of the province.

YBP- On June 6, delegation of Yen Bai province led by Mr. Do Duc Duy - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the Greater Mekong Subregion Economic Corridor (GMS) , held in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China.

YBP- On May 28, Paris Region Expertise in Vietnam coordinated with People’s Committee of Yen Bai province to organize the training course themed “Improving the effectiveness of collecting domestic solid waste in urban areas in Vietnam”.

On June 11, the Yen Bai delegation led by Mr. Do Duc Duy – Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People’s Committee participated GMS Economic Corridor Forum of 2018" in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China.

YBP - In the morning of June 7, Yen Bai Provincial People’s Committee had a working session with the delegation of Korean investors on attracting investment in tourism, waste water treatment and some other fields.

YBP- According to a report released by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in March 2018, Yen Bai ranked 46/63 provinces in the country with 60,72 points, raising one steps compared to 2016 and five steps from 2015; ranked 6/14 provinces in the northern mountainous provinces.
