CTTĐT - Within the framework of the activities to organize the ceremony to receive the certificate of UNESCO inscribing "Art of Xoe Thai" on the list of representative intangible cultural heritage of Humanity and opening the Muong Lo Culture and Tourism Festival, Discover the special national scenic spot of Mu Cang Chai terraced fields in 2022, from September to December 2022, localities in the province organize many special cultural, artistic, sports and tourism activities.

Suoi Giang Tea tree honoring festival will be held on 24th September at NaHi Village in Suoi Giang commune. Suoi Giang tea parties take place at weekend from September to the end of 2022 in Suoi Giang Tea Space in Pang Cang village….

Over the province, there are more than 200 youth volunteer groups to preserve and hold festival activities such as: Club of introducing and promoting Mu Cang Chai land and people in De Xu Phinh commune; group of Homestay tourism in Nghia Loi, Nghia Lo town; the model “Tran Yen Youth”…

The places for displaying and performing ethnic group’s culture at ceremony includes 16 stores of 8 town, district and city of Yen Bai province; 3 stores of Nghia Lo town, 3 store of provinces: Dien Bien, Son La and Lai Chau and 2 stores serving for delegates and tourists.

On 18th August, Dantri Newspaper and leaders of Van Chan district opened newspaper for local people in Khe Ken village in Cat Thinh commune, Van Chan district.

The northern mountainous province of Yen Bai has received and implemented 21 programmes and projects funded by the World Bank (WB) with total investment of 4.67 trillion VND (199.65 million USD) since 2000, according to a local official.

In order to provide services and experience tourism for tourists coming to Mu Cang Chai and catch up with the trend of experience tourism with various types of terrain in the district, especially destinations that are attractive to tourists but difficult to reach because of the rough ground, Dong Mo Discovery tourism company cooperated with Mu Cang Chai Helo Trading and Tourism Co., Ltd to test 10 ATVs to participate in experiencing travel services to conquer all kinds of terrain in Mu Cang Chai district.
