YBP - On June 3, the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to launch the “Digital Literacy for All” campaign across the province.
The leaders performed the launching ceremony by pressing the button to officially inaugurate the "Digital Mass Literacy" portal of Yen Bai Province
The “Digital Literacy for All” campaign is an initiative of the Central Steering Committee for the Development of Science, Technology, Innovation, and National Digital Transformation. It aims to concretize the implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution No.57, which focuses on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
In Yen Bai Province, under the strong and consistent leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee, Resolution No.57 has been seriously implemented, initially yielding positive results. Science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation have rapidly permeated daily life and various socio-economic sectors, creating new value and contributing to improved public satisfaction and well-being across the province.
To provide official information on Yen Bai Province’s “Digital Literacy for All” campaign, the province has launched a dedicated digital portal. The site is accessible via the Provincial E-Government Portal, the Yen Bai Digital Citizen app (Yen Bai-S), the Yen Bai Online Newspaper, and the website of the Department of Science and Technology. The portal's domain is: binhdanhocvuso.skhcn.yenbai.gov.vn.
This portal offers comprehensive information on the campaign’s guiding policies and directives, local implementation activities, innovative models and best practices, as well as digital platforms. Notably, it is integrated with the campaign’s online learning platform, allowing officials and citizens to participate in training and self-assess their digital competencies.
The province aims that by the end of 2025, 80% of officials, public employees, and workers in the public sector will possess basic digital skills; 100% of high school students and university students will be equipped with digital skills to study and interact safely online; 80% of adults will be able to use essential digital services; and 80% of workers in enterprises and cooperatives will be capable of applying technology in production and business. Notably, by the end of 2026, the province targets to achieve 100% in all these criteria, moving toward comprehensive digital skills literacy for all residents.
To ensure the “Digital Mass Literacy” movement in Yen Bai Province spreads widely, effectively, and meaningfully while encouraging active and responsible participation from all segments of society, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Ngo Hanh Phuc called on all levels, sectors, localities, the business community, and citizens to enthusiastically respond to the initiative.
He urged everyone to proactively study, share, and spread digital knowledge within their communities. Every official, party member, family, and organization should become a pioneer in promoting the movement helping to build digital citizens, digital families, and a modern, civilized digital society.
This effort will contribute to advancing Yen Bai’s development in line with its vision of being “Green, Harmonious, Identity-rich, and Happy,” confidently stepping forward with the nation into a new era.
