Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee, Do Duc Duy, had a working meeting with Mr. Park Sang Mo, Chairman of the Boryeong City Council, Chungcheongnam Province

During the working session, Mr. Park Sang Mo, Chairman of the Boryeong City Council, expressed his delight in welcoming Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee, Do Duc Duy, and the provincial working delegation. Mr. Park Sang Mo stated that Boryeong, like other regions in Korea, has a high demand for foreign labor, especially seasonal workers with experience in working on farms and production facilities, processing and harvesting agricultural products, planting fruit trees, growing vegetables, and harvesting seaweed and algae.

Speaking at the working session, Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee, Do Duc Duy, stated that Yen Bai has implemented various mechanisms, policies, and legal tools to ensure that workers are closely connected with businesses. The province also has policies for training and improving the quality of the labor force to meet the demands of partners.

Furthermore, in his capacity as the Head of Yen Bai Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Mr. Do Duc Duy will make recommendations to central committees, ministries, and sectors to enhance the management of labor export and overseas labor management.

Mr. Do Duc Duy expressed the desire for the leadership of Boryeong City to study and sign a Memorandum of Understanding on seasonal labor exchange cooperation with Luc Yen District of Yen Bai Province, and to implement the agreed-upon activities between the two localities. Boryeong City will serve as a bridge to introduce Korean businesses to explore and seek opportunities in Yen Bai Province.

Subsequently, Secretary Do Duc Duy, along with the working delegation, held discussions with Mr. Koo Ki Sun, Vice Mayor of Boryeong City.

Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee Do Duc Duy introduced the potentials, advantages, and major orientations of Yen Bai Province in its socio-economic development, as well as information on the labor situation, vocational training, and employment solutions in the province.

Secretary Do Duc Duy particularly emphasized the supportive policies for vocational training for labor, especially those who have obtained provincial-level certificates during their training.

During the working session, Mr. Koo Ki Sun expressed a desire to cooperate with Yen Bai Province in various fields, particularly in labor and employment. Vice Mayor Koo Ki Sun hoped that the two localities would organize delegations to exchange and learn from each other's experiences in areas of strength for each locality.
